Ladner is a community located in British Columbia, Canada. It serves as the municipal seat of Delta Municipality. The name « Ladner » originates from Thomas Williams Ladner, who was one of the first settlers in the area during the late 19th century.
History
Thomas Williams Ladner arrived at the site now known as Ladner in the 1850s and began to purchase land for farming purposes. His vision for developing a thriving agricultural community laid the groundwork for what would become Ladner’s strong tradition of agriculture and horticulture.
